Hi, I’m Miriam
A Teacher Who Wants You to Love Spanish
I'm a native Spanish speaker from Lima, Peru who has called Los Angeles, CA home for more than 30 years. I've tutored students from middle schoolers to adults, and I hold a teaching credential along with a B.A. and Master's in Psychology.
I created La Bella Lengua because I believe that while learning a language should be structured, it should also be enjoyable. You'll have planned lessons that give you a clear path forward, and we'll bring in music, videos, conversation, and culture so Spanish feels like more than a list of grammar rules. I can't wait to help you discover a new world through language!
